In short

This website does not collect your data itself: it has no sign-up forms, analytics, advertising or cookies. If you write to us on WhatsApp, call us or email us, we use what you tell us only to reply and arrange your stay.

Who is responsible for the data

What data we receive

Only what you send us yourself: your name, phone number or email, travel dates, number of guests and the text of your message.

The “Message us on WhatsApp” buttons open the WhatsApp app with a ready-made text. The message is sent only when you tap “Send” yourself. WhatsApp conversations are processed by WhatsApp under its own rules.

Why, and on what legal basis

To answer your question, confirm dates and perform the accommodation contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and to meet legal requirements, such as accounting (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

How long we keep it

Booking correspondence — for as long as needed for your stay and payment. Accounting documents — for as long as Latvian law requires. Everything else we delete at your request.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies or third-party trackers. Fonts and photos are loaded from our own website. The “View on map” link leads to Google Maps — Google processes data there only if you follow the link.

If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent first, and declining will be just as easy as agreeing.

Your rights

You can find out what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and restrict or object to its use. Write to livonianbay@gmail.com — we will reply within one month.

If you believe we are violating your rights, you can contact the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija).
